gus

When I adopted Gus at five months old, he had only known a cage or kennel, so cars, doorways, and everything else were new to him. Now, he's so sophisticated, he can preside over the Thanksgiving dinner table! He is a charmer, and a love. Thank you Ark Valley!

Tele had been mistreated and abandoned by his previous owners. I'm so grateful for Ark Valley to have taken good care of him and looked for a good home for him. He has now filled our home with joy, love and playfulness for eight years!

  dinky

Dinky is a beautiful, small Himalayan Princess.  Like any princess she wants love and attention.  She's a loveaholic who can't get enough cuddling and petting from her mistress.  She is definitely a lap kitty and a wonderful companion.

When we agreed to foster Molly, she was diabetic & completely blind. Within hours of bringing her home, she had hijacked our hearts. She faced each day with amazing courage and patience. Although still diabetic, Molly now has full sight and greets every day with exuberance, enthusiasm & love. Thanks AVHS for our miracle girl!

  tully

Tully has become our two year old, Grace's favorite companion! When we adopted her from Mountain Shadows we had no idea how much love, joy and laughter she would add to our lives.

Buster is doing great! He has our whole routine figured out already... from the "leash drawer" to the doggie treats and everything in-between! If we try to take him on a shorter walk than the "normal" walk around the neighborhood, he will protest with a quite little bark as if to say " we are not done yet! and I know it. He is extremely smart... and well behaved. The kids adore him, and take turns being his favorite buddy. He is enjoying the sun and spring grass in the yard, and is almost always busy with something (there are kids visiting all the time, and Buster keeps them entertained).
He seems more assured of his surroundings now that we have had him a while, and has completely adopted the family. Yesterday he went day-camping with us in the hills and we really enjoyed seeing him run around and take in the sights and smells.

Thank you for everything... we had no idea how much we would enjoy buster until we had him with us.

We can not say enough how your generosity made it all possible, and we are so glad you had a safe and pleasant drive home.

Buster has something he would like to say also... Ruff, ( Translation: Thank you! )

Below is a note from our oldest Daughter Danielle ( 8 years )
